Selective RCBO

RCBOs selective type provide an intentional delay and they have to be installed upstream in order to grant total selectivity to the circuit. Further to an earth fault, in RCBOs type S the residual current mechanism trips after the complete opening of the contacts of the instantaneous (standard type)circuit breaker installed downstream.
RCBOs type S are available in two poles (single phase circuits) and four poles (three phase circuits), with sensitivities 100mA and 300mA.
RCBOs’ functioning is independent from line voltage and its mechanism is trip-free, that is the RCCBs can also trip when the lever is held in ON position.
All products can be power supplied from both the top and the bottom terminals. Furthermore “cage” type terminals facilitate connection both through conductors (up to 35 mm² rigid and 25mm² flexible) and through busbars (both pin or fork types).
